Since September 1, 2008, major changes have taken place in the health care system to improve the delivery of care to the New Brunswick population. The province’s eight regional health authorities have been amalgamated into two new health authorities, namely Vitalité Health Network and Horizon Health Network.
The new Vitalité Health Network is the result of the amalgamation of Regional Health Authority 4 (NorthWest), the Restigouche Health Authority (Campbellton), the ACADIE-BATHURST Health Authority (Bathurst and Acadian Peninsula) and the Beauséjour Health Authority (Kent and Southeast).
The new Vitalité Health Network’s website is currently under construction, and information will be added to it over time. We invite you to visit the Web site by logging on to: http://www.santevitalitehealth.ca.
