Job Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for developing pharmaceutical care and providing pharmaceutical care to patients including pharmacotherapeutic evaluation of the medication profile and pharmacokinetics. The person will provide drug information and education to patients and health professionals. He or she will also be responsible for the preparation, distribution and control of medication. A six-month training course will be provided at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, in Bathurst.

Requirements:

Member of the New Brunswick Pharmaceutical Society, with license in good standing;
Ability to work as a member of a team, as well as independently, and excellent communication and organizational skills;
Leadership and supervisory skills;
Hospital Residency Program, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy considered an asset;
Clinical experience in a hospital setting considered an asset;
Computer skills;
Knowledge of French essential; knowledge of English considered an asset;
