Job Summary:
The incumbent will participate in the planning, organization, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care services to patients with alcohol, drug, and gambling problems, during the withdrawal, prevention, and rehabilitation phases, in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, and policies of Addiction Services.

Requirements:

Active member of the Nurses Association of New Brunswick;
Sound clinical judgement in the area of physical and psychosocial assessments;
Advanced certificates in addiction services, mental health, or helping relationships considered an asset;
Proven skills in helping relationships, individual and group communication, interpersonal relationships, as well as in problem and conflict resolution;
Ability to supervise the work of attendants;
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Knowledge of French essential; functional knowledge of English also required;
Completion of required training and certifications, in accordance with pre-established deadlines.
