Job Summary:
The incumbent will provide rehabilitative services, within the scope of professional practice of Speech Language Therapy, to clients of the Bathurst Extra-Mural Program. As part of the Community Rehabilitation Pool, he/she may work with children, adults, and seniors, in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing students’ needs and developing clinical intervention plans;
- Providing clinical Speech Language Therapy intervention, including treatment, education and consultation in the school environment;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and other service providers to facilitate effective communication;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and contributing to the overall effort of an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Registered with the New Brunswick Association of Speech Language Therapists and Audiologists and eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Speech Language Therapists and Audiologists;
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology;
- Must have or agree to obtain, current CPR training;
- Bilingual (English and French);
- Current Class IV driver’s permit in good standing;
- Willingness to use own vehicle;
