February 18, 2008 – Dr. Robert Desjardins, Chief of Staff, and Dr. Dawn Marie Martin, Chief of Family Medicine at the Lamèque Hospital and CHC, are happy to welcome Dr. Véronique Dupuis and Dr. Michèle Mallet as the newest members of the Acadian Peninsula Family Medicine team.
Dr. Dupuis and Dr. Mallet are both originally from Shippagan. Dr. Dupuis obtained her medical degree in 2005 from the Université Laval – Faculty of Medicine and completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at the Université de Sherbrooke in 2007. Dr. Mallet obtained her medical degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2007. Both obtained the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada and became certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2007.
